Jean-Luc was finally admitted into the academy in 2323 at the age of 18 and became the first cadet to win the marathon on Danula II. Boothby, the groundskeeper at the academy became one of Picard's closest friend and mentor. After graduating in 2327 Picard was stabbed in the heart during a fight with three Nausicaans. He underwent a cardiac replacement procedure leaving him with a artificial heart.
As a young leutenant aboard the Stargazer Picard was forced to take control of the bridge when the captian was killed. After the incident he was offered command of the vessel which he commanded until 2355 when the ship was nearly destroyed by a Ferengi vessel.
In 2363 Picard was granted command of the Starship Enterprise NCC-1701D. He was now the captian of the flagship of the Federation and along with the ship came the responsibility and honor of representing the Federation. His mission aboard the Enterprise lasted for seven years in which many strange and wonderful alien beings were discovered. Many times Picard would use his diplomatic mind to settle hot disputes between Romulans and the Federation. Or disputes between other cultures. Along with the many happy times during his service sad times came as well. Sometimes he would have to make important decisions that were hinged on the importance of the prime directive. Other times he would have to live with death as in the case of Tasha Yar's which affected the entire crew severly.
All through his life Riker had been a hard working and determined individual. This was no differnt when he graduated eighth in his calss at star fleet acadamy in 2357. His first assignment was aboard the U.S.S. Pegasus which dissappeared and was later found during a secret mission conducted by the Enterprise to retreive a special type of cloaking device within the vessel.
As a Lieutenant, Riker served aboard the U.S.S. Potemkin and during a mission a transporter malfunction caused a dulpicate Riker to be created on planet Neravla IV. After his service with the Potemkin, Riker was transferred to the U.S.S. Hood and promoted to an executive officer. He was later transferred to the U.S.S. Enterprise where he became second officer.
During his seven years service aboard the Enterprise Riker was offered three Starships to command. Hoewever his devotion to the Enterprise and Capt. Picard caused him to stay with his current assignment.
In 2348 she married Jack Crusher, a close friend of Picard and together they had a child, Wesley Crusher. When Wesley was only a baby, Jack was killed during a shuttle accident aboard the U.S.S. Stargazer under the command of Jean Luc Picard. After the Accident, Crusher never did remarry* although she did have a few flings with aliens and Picard throughout the seven years she served aboard the Enterprise.
Crusher left the Enterprise and her son for one year to become head of Starfleet Medical. During the time she was a way Dr. Katherine Pulaski took her place. After one year in her new position, Crusher came back and was reunited with her son.
Personally, Crusher was an accomplished artist. She was head of a play company and an excellent dancer. Data once asked for her to teahc him to dance which she reluctantly obliged. Her plays were also a great sucess
* In "All Good Things" it was said that Crusher did marry Picard sometime in the later portion of the 24th century although they eventually divorced. I was not sure of any of the dates and since the future could be change as Picard states in "All Good Things" I didn't use the information as fact.
Data later encountered his older brother Lore, the first android created by Dr. Soong, who was discovered by the crew of the Enterprise during one of their missions. After reactivation, Lore tried to take command of the Enterprise until he was later beamed into space by the Enterprise crew. Lore also stole a human emotion chip from Dr. Soong who intended to give it to Data. Later, after many more encounters with Lore, Lore was finally disassembled however the emotion chip was removed. During Star Trek Generations, Data inserted the emotion chip into his positronic brain and he gained nearly all human emotions. However he was almost unable to control them and several time wanted to remove it.
Troi met Commander Riker previously to their concurrent post aboard the Enterprise and they both became romantically involved. At one point Troi hoped that she and Riker could extend their romance however Riker's duties didn't leave time for him to be with her. When they were both reunited aboard the Enterprise, their old romance kindled back to life however they were not as serious as before.
Worf later had a child, Alexander, with the Klingon ambassador K'Ehleyr during thier relationship which was tragically severed when K'Ehleyr was murdered by the Duras family. After this incident Alexander later went to Earth to live with Sergy and Helena, Worf's foster parents.
Worf had a successful carrer aboard the Enterprise balancing both work and his deep religious devotion. Often Worf would be conducting spiritual healing rituals. Or conducting one of the many Klingon rituals. Later in his term aboard the Enterprise, Worf began romantic relations with Dianna Troi. Their romance progressed until Worf transferred to DS9 to which he is currently serving.
