Atomic Bomberman Guild

Internet Play

UIN's are listed on the bottom of the page.

Apparently, Atomic Bomberman supports only the IPX network protocal, which means you can only run it on a LAN, or the two-player modem mode. For Internet play, you will have to download a copy of Kali and register. Unregistered version lasts 15 minutes, which is long enough to play several Bomberman matches. Each match hardly ever last over 1 to 2 minutes.

Registration is only $20, and it never expires. It means you will be able to play on-line, any time, for as long as you want without paying another cent. Forget other on-line gaming services, like TEN, which charge you by the hour. There is no catch. It is well worth it.

"why I love Kali more than life itself" by Alice Hill, C|NET.

Okay, okay, I will stop advertising other commercial products. Hey, people from Kali, maybe we can negotiate a deal.

What is ICQ UIN?

"ICQ is a program that let's you known when others are on-line. It is a very useful program because of this reason. So once you had all the ICQ UIN (Universal Internet Number)'s Listed, a person could contact who ever may be on-line at the current time and ask if any or all would like to join in a Atomic Bomberman game.

"The program is only about 1.5 MB's or so. You can download it at www.icq.com. I reccomend you get ICQ."

- Grimstone

"ICQ is a combinaton [of] email, chat room, and file sharer. It is VERY usefull. You can get it at www.mirabilis.com. [Once] you [download it], it will take you about two minutes to set [it] up, and then [it will] ask [who you wish to add to your notification list]."

Bomberman for the Java Platform!

Here is something not commercial . . . Take a look at Bomberman for the Internet . It is an ernest attempt to create multi-player Bomberman using Java. In addition, the client and server source codes are available. Apparently, the author is trying to create a 3D version of Bomberman. Definitely worth a look.

Mr. Boom!

Hey, take a look at Mr. Boom here! It's a Bomberman clone for single-players and eight-player IPX network. It works on DOS and Windows 95. It features nasty monsters and graphics not available in Atomic Bomberman. Wow, it looks cool. I think I will download it and give it a try.
