Well, After the death of the SRI got the 205!
The 205 had been clocked, and the millage went up by about
100,000 a day for about a week. Damn It.
Soon after this it began to smoke heavily!! Sorry DAMN Heavily!!
Big thick blue smoke which was really funny because I could 'REEK' people
If someone was too close, a little blip on the accelerator and
they were blinded by reek!!
For a story about the 205 visit the extreme team website or click Here

The 205 had a 1.8 Diesel engine so it was quite nippy.
This soon changed as the piston rings became loose and
the engine made a tremendous clatter when you reved it.
It went on like that for ages, not letting us down once.
It might have been Fu%ked but it was damn reliable.
The 205 met its end when it was scrapped in exchange for a gearbox for the 405.

BYE BYE 205
YOUR DEATH WAS NOT IN VAIN!!

The 405 was bought at auction for 600. Being an auction we
thought there may be somthing wrong with it and lo and behold
it needed a gearbox. The dying 205 was exchanged for a gearbox
and once fitted the car ran great. The 405 is a 1.6 litre
carburetor model and has (should have) 95bhp. Not too bad.
The 405 is not that quick but it can go if you want it too
(Unless it is in a bad mood)
The current milage on it is 135,000 so it is getting on and
so things do brake from time to time.
We have had the following items:

Gearbox
Carburetor
Heater fan
Steering wrack x2
Cylinder Head Gasket
Various others (break pads, tyres, timing belt etc.)

The 405 is a pain sometimes when it breaks but I still like it.
The advantage of the 405 over all the other is it's size.
It is quite big so freaks in thier NOVAS and other freak cars
usually get out your way when you come steaming up the back of
them ..or so my dad told me ;-)
You can also fit loads of stuff in the back!

I will get a picture of it up soon!!

Well it has finally given up. After two years and 50,000 miles
of ranting the 405 is dead. Raaannnkkk!! It did well though
but it was just time to go. Its not gone yet but we
don't know what we are doing with it yet.
RAAANNKK. DEAD 405 !!!
BOO HISS !!

The Polo or Tank (as it has become known as because of its noise)
was bought for 50 as a second family car.
It is old and noisy and rusty but it is still better than a NOVA

The Tank is gone!! We sold it for 100 to a mate of my dad's
BYE BYE TANK !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We now have a new 405. It is a late 1992 L reg. It is red and has
an automatic gearbox. It is a 1.8 injection with 100 bhp.
It is basically a newer version of my old 405 but nicer and
more comfy!! It is a nice car
