Description :

This is one of the most beautiful compositions made by Francisco Zumaque, combining the lenguage of Jazz with Colombia's Cumbia. The fragment is nearly 4 minutes long and is available here without the formal consent of maestro Zumaque. We're trying to get in contact with him to get his authorization and post the complete piece !

Description :

This is a short, free improvisation played by Manrique, while the members of his band were tuning their instruments. It was recorded one night at Bogota's "Jazz bar" in 1983 and it's one of the very few available recordings made by the great colombian pianist.
