I got rid fo the Cavalier in 2001. In January of 2002, I purchased a 1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. I loved that car. It was my favorite of the cars I've owned. Unfortunately, it wasn't a wise financial purchase. I shouldn't have financed an older used car. As the miles piled up on it, I was afraid that I couldn't afford the payments and upkeep, so I got rid of it. I no longer have a convertible, but will again sometime in the next year or so. 1987 Chevrolet Cavalier RS Convertible.

I am the second owner. The car only had 78,000 miles on it when I bought it. It was not a 'primary use' vehicle for its previous owner. It is red with a tan top and tan interior. Pictures soon to follow.
The body and engine (4 cyl) are in really good shape. The top is in pretty good shape, but needs some work.
This is the first convertible that I have owned. But, I've been hooked on them for years, ever since the mid 80s. A good friend of mine in high school bought and restored a 1969 Buick Grand Sport Convertible.

The most important thing is that the top doesn't leak

My car was finally broken into. There really wasn't much for the people who broke into it to take. In fact, it was a fluke that it was locked at all. They cut my back window & trashed the inside of the car. I'll be getting a new top this week & a new console. I'll post pics at some point.
