Outrun

The classic arcade racer! The home versions of this game from Sega were eagerly awaited by all but when they finally arrived they disappointed just about everyone. In my opinion the sega master version isn't too bad though - and I still play the spectrum version on principle - it cost me 10 pounds when I bought it all those years ago and I want my moneys worth. There is one home version of Outrun, however, that is almost 100% faithful to the arcade and that is the Sega Saturn version, released in 1996 - It took 10 years since the release of the arcade version until you could finally experience Outrun properly in the home.
