JACKIE CHAN REVIEWS

Here's what you said about some of Jackie's movies:

WHO AM I?

One of Jackie's best and it is a crying shame that someone at Paramount thinks Jackie has lost his Star potential and is releasing this straight to HBO on Sept. 11th, then on Video and DVD come this December. Jackie's acting is pretty good in this one, but I had to laugh hard (sorry Jackie) when Jackie asks the native if he speaks English... Poor Jackie seems to strain so hard to speak English, but I respect him very much for putting forth the effort for us. He seems to have become a little better in the new movie RUSH HOUR coming out Sept. 18th, but that's another review.

*spolier alert* The plot line of WHO AM I? goes something like this: Jackie is part of a special forces group and goes by the number 523. This special group is recovering a fragment of a meteor from the jungles of Africa. The meteor contains some mass energy producing property and the head of the mission kills off the special force and takes the fragment for himself to sell to weapons dealers. Jackie ends up surviving and taken in by a local tribe. The only problem is Jackie lost his memory, so hence the title "Who Am I?". The film then goes on to follow Jackie Chan on his quest to find his memory, which takes him all over the globe from Africa to Holland. This film has it all, from intense car chase scenes, super death-defying stunts, beautiful women, and an ending fight scene that is easily one of his best.

Again it is a crying shame that this movie will not be released theatrically. It is a darkday for Chan-kind. For all those who do not have HBO I'm truly sorry you'll have to wait to December.

WHO AM I?

First off, i gotta say the fighting scenes in this movie has to be one of his best. At age 44, nobody can do all the moves that Jackie can. Anyways, again the plot of the movie is really dense but who cares. We just want to see Jackie at his best doing funny expressions and bad-ass stunts. In this particular movie, he had two pretty big stunts. One involving him wrappin ropes around his body inorder to roll of the side of the building and escape from the bad guys. The other has him jumper and sliding down the side of a building tryin to catch up with the bad guy. I must say, once again I am surprised by Jackie Chan with his ever new ideas for stunts. I'd give this film a perfect 10 out of 10.

FIRST STRIKE

I thought this movie was really good but it lacked in action. But what it lacked in action it made up in humor. The latter seen was spectacular and the underwater scene was cool and funny at the same time; like when Jackie pops the air breather out of the guys mouth. The plot was not the best ( but does it really have to be) but who cares. It was awesome how Jackie kicked that guy off the wall with those stilts ( how does he do that? ) . Overall I thought it was a well rounded movie with breathtaking stunts.

MR. NICE GUY

Jackie was the man because he was kicking ass and stuff. My favorit part is when he runs over the house with the big truck.
