Learn About Spring Hills Baptist Church

Spring Hills Baptist Church was founded in 1989 by Pastor Jeff Pound and his wife, Cathy.  It started out in their home until the congregation grew so large that services had to be held at Granville High School.  A building was built several years ago and an addition to the building was completed in the last winter. The new addition is an educational wing and houses the new school, Grace Haven Academy.

Grace Haven Academy was founded by Cathy Pound last year. It accepts students from Kindergarten though 12th grade. For information on Grace Haven Academy, please call (614) 587-4423.

The Youth Department at Spring Hills is headed up by our main Youth Pastor, Gary Kirkpatrick.  He is aided by our Assistant Youth Pastor, Dean Schilling. Senior High Youth events range from Sunday night SLAM (Student Led Active Ministry) to a Thursday night Coffee House in the church's Fireside Room. Once a month planning sessions (called Yak Sessions) are held on a Friday night at one of the youth's homes.
