• Happy Chinese New Year to everyone ! There will be a Tuan Bai again on the 20th Febuary 1999. All bynature students and friends are invited to join. Those who are interested can gather in CHS in the morning or call Kok Siong (03-7554916)to ask for details.

• 23rd January 1999. The Wu He Zhi Zhong concert was a real success. The Nanyang Siang Pau hall was crowded with people (mostly CHS students of course). Tickets were sold out and the audience really had a great time enjoying the masterpieces engineered by the talented bunch. Congratulations and many kisses to everybody who made the concert successful. Keep it up :) By the way ,what's the date of the next concert ??

• 31 December 1998 --> 1 Jan 1999. A new year party was held in Siao Fan's house at about 7 o'clock. Lots of people were there, typically the sciece 1,2 and 4 students. We had barbeque, cakes, french fries etc. On the other side of the town, about 30+ ex students from CHS, those from science 1, 2, 3 and 4 (classes of 1997) gathered in Sunway Pyramid for the New Year Celebration. As the clock struck 12, all of them went to the lagoon to watch the fireworks show. The crowd was really unbelievable. The event ended at about 12:30. After about half an hour of pushing and squeezing, we were finally able to half an hour just to exit the lagoon. After that, we decided to go to the mamak in Subang to celebrate Seng Yip's birthday (yes, 1/1/99). When our stomachs were happy, some friends went home to sleep while a gang continued to battle in Autosurf. Another gang went to Bukit Jalil to laze around and chat (No kidding). One bad thing about the whole event was the drizzling rain that lasted from evening until 2:30 am 1999. Anyway, it was quite a fun event after all.

• On Januray 23, the Wu He Zhi Zhong will hold a concert in Nanyang Siang Pau. The group that consists mainly of CHS students like Jiin Joo, Jyh Juan, Aik Hua, Sheikh Ching, Yuan Kuok...etc is going to have their first ever concert in 1999. Tickets are available (ticket price is RM 7) through all members of Wu He Zhi Zhong. Please support them, support CHS! • Good news, do u all know that 52 students got 8as and 100++ got 7as in CHS for the PMR results? Hurray for CHS!!!!!

• 20 September 1998, a very good friend of mine (18)  from Sunway College met an accident near Medan Damansara early this morning ( about 2.00 am). They were speeding in this BMW and suddenly the driver ( actually there were 3 people in the car)  suddenly lost control and the car overturned a couple of times and exploded. All three were killed at the scene. I heard they were suffering in the car while the car was burning and when they were eventually found, their bodies were unidentifiable. Although this has nothing to do with our class, I sincerely hope that all of us, especially the ones with cars and like to drive at high speeds do keep this in mind whenever your on the road. Drive safely and please ......do not speed.

• 18 September 1998, the reunion party for science 1 and science 2 was held in Kong You's house. The event started at about 7 pm and lasted until 12.00 am. We had home made cakes, salads, barbeque and more. Students from the other science classes and art classes also joined the fun.

• September 1998, a class gathering for Science 2 has been suggested by Khoo Choo Ki, but the date has not yet been decided, please go to http://www.egroups.com/vote?id=1193 to vote whether it should be held during December - Christmas holidays 1998 or Chinese New Year 1999.

• September 1998, our assistant class monitor,Ms. Soo Siew Shuan is off to U.S.A to further her studies. We wish her all the best and a safe trip.

• Congratulations to Mr. Wong Jyh Juan. The song he composed, 'Dao Qian', has been selected by Micheal and Victor(Guang Liang Pin Guan) for their newest album - 'San Ren Xing'! Mr. Wong and his group, 'Wu He Zhi Zhong', last played this piece of work at the 'Let's Play My Music' competition organised by Rock Records.

• Two brilliant students from Science Two had successfully received the ASEAN scholarship to continue their studies in Singapore. They are Ong Jiin Joo and Tan Pek Yong. We wish them all the best and hope that they will always remember to contact us everytime they come back to M'sia!

• Sunday, 1st of February, Mr. Lim Jet Khin and his friends had done it again! They had successfully organised a class visit in conjuction with Chinese New Year. We gathered at Mr. Lim's house at about 9 am and then started our trip around the OUG area. We went to Siong Keat's, Choo Ki's, Lit Way's house............

We went to Subang, SS2, Damansara, Cheras........until it was late at night. It was a very enjoyable and memorable day. For those that didn't had the chance to join us, don't worry, we still have another Chinese New Year visit next year......I'm sure.
