WILL OF JOHN CLEMENT OF CHACOMBE 1541

In the name of God amen In the year of our Lord God 1541 upon the 16th day of the month of July I John Clements of Chacombe do make my testament and last will as hereafter followeth

First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God and my body to be buried in the churchyard of Chacombe

Item I bequeath to the mother church of Lincoln 2d

Item to the torches 2d

Item to Peter my son my red mare

Item to Isabell my daughter a calf of one year old and the residue of my goods not bequeathed I give to Elizabeth my wife whom I make my full executor of all my goods to dispose them for the health of my soul and to my children with the counsel of Thomas Sabin whom I put in trust to be overseer of this my last will and to this beareth witness

Probate granted 21st November 1541
