WILL OF WILLAM PRATT OF THORPE MANDEVILLE 1669

First I commend my soul to unto [sic] Almighty God my maker and to Jesus Christ my Redeemer and my body to Christian burial

Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Elnor the bedstead in the parlour and all belonging to it and the cupboard in the parlour, one old chair and one new: and one chest there, and more I give to Elnor, the great "cettel" [kettle?] and one more old one;

Item I give to Elnor the long table in the Hall and more I give her, one cow, being the younger.

Item more I give to my daughter "Ellnor", the one half of my sheep

Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarra the bedstead and curtains and all belonging to it that is in the parlour chamber and one press there and the two chests there.

Item I give to Sarra the table and form in the parlour, more I give to Sarra, one brass kettle and brass pot

Item I give to Sarra the other cow and the other half of my sheep being equally divided

Item I give to my son Francis ten shillings

Item I give to my grandchild Dorothy Granger the great "brood" [broad, bread?] brass pan in the hall

Item I give to my grandchild William Collman five shillings

Item I give to Robert Granger and Ann his wife one shilling

Item I give to Thomas Collman one shilling

Item for the rest of my goods and chattles I give to my daughter Ellnor and my daughter Sarra, my debts being paid and my funeral expences discharged which two daughters I do ordain and make my whole and joint Executrixes of this my last will and testament

In witness hereof I have put my hand and seal etc.,
