In the name of God amen, the second day of February in the year of our Lord God a thousand, five hundred seventy six, I Mary Cooke of the parish of Blakesly in the county of Northampton widow, being of perfect mind and remembrance, laud and praise be to Almighty God do make my last will and testament in manner and form following

First I commend my soul to Almighty God my maker and redeemer and my body to be buried in the foresaid parish churchyard

Item I bequeath to the church of Blakesly 4d

Item I bequeath to Elizabeth Smythe two pair of sheets, two table napkins and a tablecloth

Item I bequeath to Richard Burton my son in law and to Anne his wife all my goods moveable and unmoveable unbequeathed, I make and ordain the foresaid Richard Burton and Anne his wife my whole Executors to the Ask, Levy, and Demand all debts due unto me and likewise to pay.

I make and ordain my overseers JohnWarryck and William Mortimeare for the performance of this my last will and testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand in the presence of William Saunders, John Warrick, Wm Mortimer with others
