Piano

I have several hobbies which I enjoy a lot. I have been playing the piano all my life. When I was a little kid I used to imitate my mother playing the piano by sitting behind two large cushions we had. When I got a bit older, I actually started playing. At the age of seven I started having private lessons. Every friday morning my tutor would come to my house to teach me. It lasted only a couple of weeks, because in that time lost all interest in playing. I had to play what he wanted me to play instead of what I wanted to play. He himself advised me to stop the tution and explore the instrument by myself, as I did. Now, as I'm 21 years old I still play the piano with great joy.

Painting

An other hobbie of mine, which I just started a couple of years ago, is painting. I paint abstract paintings with strong colour combinations. I couldn't believe it when I found out people actually like my paintings and wanted to have them on their walls. I allready sold some of them. Later on there will be a scan of some of the paintings I made to be found on this page.

Drawing

I also draw - mainly portraits. If you want your portrait to be drawn in pencil, send a scan of it to me by email. A scan of an example will also be here in a while.

Music

I am totally lost when listening to music I like. Especially music from O)+>. This artist, who has been known under different names as Prince, The Artist Formerly Known As Prince, the Symbol and at the moment O)+>, has published a fantastic album called Emancipation. There are many different music styles I like. Ever heard the theme music to the film The Mission? It's composed by Ennio Morricone and I see it as a masterpiece. Some beautiful music right there...

Driving

Just driving around in my car, listening to music is another thing I like very much. I have a white 1986 Ford Sierra 2.0 Laser. I admit, not one of the most impressive cars, but I like it. My car stereo is a Sony XR-C220, with a 10 CD-changer in the trunk. As you probably will have guessed, It's filled with O)+> CD's.

In-Line Skating

In the summer-season I enjoy going on my in-line skates. I haven't mastered the art of agressive skating, but do enjoy skating through the city or just going really fast on the straight bicycle-paths we have in Holland.
