It was based on the 1988 movie of the same title (now called "Out of Rosenheim.") "Bagdad Cafe" was a produced by Mort Lachman & Associates with Zev Braun Pictures, New World Television for CBS Entertainment Productions. "You Say It's Your Birthday" 13 April 1990 D: Paul Bogart When Brenda forbids Debbie to see Snake, her zombie biker boyfriend, Jasmine and Debbie collaborate to transform him into someone respectabile. "City on a Hill" 26 October 1990 D: Paul Bogart A broken water line turns the cafe into a dry watering hole, where Jasmine rallies townsfolk to incorporate, and Brenda prepares for a scorching battle with county commissioners. It was postponed by Game 6 of the 1990 NL Championship Series, when the Cincinnati Reds clinched the NL pennant by beating the Pittsburgh Pirates, 2-1. There was no 19 October 1990 airing due to Game 3 of the World Series. 205. "Sixteen Candles" 2 November 1990 D: Paul Bogart Debbie yearns to be treated like an adult on her 16th birthday, but she ends up grounded and decides not to show up for her party.
