Welcome back, patrons! Good news: I just saw this story on "60 Minutes" about Google, and since I know how popular Google is getting, I had to play with it and see what happens when I put my "alter ego" name, blaqpoet. Not only did I get this: Results 1 - 10 of about 310 for blaqpoet. (0.15 seconds) but my website was the FIRST thing listed! So, besides word of mouth, you can reach me through Google!
Anyway, here is info for the new year: 1) I have a new book that will be published and available for purchase in late February.
2) My voice is still jacked up, and I may know why, but it hasn't stopped me from working, as I have 2 part-time jobs now.
3) I'm still a bachelor, but have a recent ex-girlfriend.
4) I am working on other books, which take up a lot of my spare time, so I have even less time nowadays to dedicate to this website, but I will modify it when I get a chance, and when I am able to put up info about my new book, "The Voiceless Chronicles," I will do so.
5) I resigned as president of the residents' committee where I stay, and I've already seen problems arise after my departure.
Again, I am hoping that the new year will be positive for me. However, right now, seeing how realism can become pessimism real easy for me, I'm using Jesse Jackson's phrase to "keep hope alive." In the meantime, continue to enjoy my site. Stay strong and stay true!
