Yay, they made it here! They were shipped USPS from Delaware, and arrived safely and with no problems. I do think they were happy to get out of that box, though!
They're absolutely beautiful little darlings; Gergesa is the younger and smaller, Katina is larger and very pretty. Katina's also the friendlier of the two; reach in the cage and she'll immediately scoot up your arm to see what kind of attention she can attract! Gergesa has to be encouraged a little more, but is still very tame.
They explored their new cage with all of that gerbil enthusiasm; Gergesa seemed contented with that and promptly fell asleep (*under* the box they've got, not in of course), but Katina was still hyper and bounced around a bit more until I took her out and held her a while.
Anyway, I'm thrilled with 'em; stay tuned for updates! :-)
