American Staffordshire Terrier Club of Hawaii
The American Staffordshire Terrier Club of Hawaii (ASTC-H) was sanctioned by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in July,1996 and licensed by the AKC in November, 1997.
ASTC-H Board and members continue our public education program, although we have made great strides to date. With the cooperation of a local pet supply store, we hold educational fairs, and participate in many different activities which brings our beloved Am Staffs into the public's eye in a favorable light.
Our members enjoy each other's company and each other's dogs and we hold picnics during the "off-show season" in order to socialize with each other and keep our dogs socialized. We have taken advantage of offers from previous Am Staff owners and have them teach us more about the breed, in our quest to learn all we can.
We have even created a Code of Ethics which we actively support and attempt to get others to follow. To keep all our members abreast of each other and breed information, we have a newsletter, a breeder referral program, a public education coordinator, and a very active Board.
If you are interested in joining us, please feel free to contact us. We'd love to hear from you.
