Hi!
Welcome to the newest members of the Herd's intro
page! To start,
please welcome their mother, pictured above. Her name was Biata
Beaute,
meaning "divine beauty." As you can see, she is a divine beauty, too!
:-)
Tay was one of my sister's cats who lived in that
sad excuse for a home that
no matter what she did, the cats always found a new way out. As a
result of course, Tay became pregnant repeatedly. These members of
the Herd
are all her babies, hence the name of their category. Tay was a very
prolific
little gal, once giving birth to a litter of 11!!!
Since the time this picture was taken, Tammy moved
into a home in which
her cats can't escape and is now happily married to an old friend and
member
of the family(an "Adoptee family member," of course)! :-)
What happened to Tay? One of our neighbors took
her in, renamed her and had
her spayed. She's now a much spoiled member of a new family, very healthy
and happy!
In fact, her fur has grown back. Imagine her in these pictures with
Khan's fur
and you have Tay! She's gorgeous!!!
Tay's babies come in Mini, Medium and Moose! LOL
I happen to have examples of
each who all became members of the Herd at different points. Each are
precious in
my eyes and I can't imagine life without them, now! :-) They all share
their mother's
siamese-mix genetics, including those beautiful blue eyes!I'll introduce
them in the
order they arrived...
Kitana
Kitana was a birthday present for me! She's turned out to be the best
gift I've
ever had, too! :-) Short haired but with her mother's coloring, Kitana
represents the
"medium" category. She's grown up into a nice sized kitty with a gentle
spirit but
enough fire to hold her own when it becomes necessary! If you'd like
a easy time of
soft loving and purrs, Kitana is the girl to see!
Kubla Kahn
Kahn turned out to be the "moose" of the Herd and of Tay's babies!
LOL When
he first came to me, he was underweight at 11 lbs! He isn't underweight
anymore
and he was never shy! This big guy will be waiting to greet
you at the door if you'd
like to stop by. Whether you like rough kitty play or gentle loving,
he's flexible! All
he wants is attention! Stop in say "meow!" He's sure to answer
with love! :-)
Nala
Nala is the "mini" of Tay's babies and the Herd. Once she gave birth
and filled
out, you wouldn't know her for the same kitty! :-) She's one of the
most quiet
members of the Herd unless someone makes her mad then LOOK OUT!!!!
LOL
You'll not hear that vicious sounding growl from her because she loves
to be
loved! :-) Stop in and let her show you the meaning of prcious kitty
love!
Nala's Baby Cats!!
Meet the litter that Nala had after coming here! :-) There are pictures
of Nala here
as leaving out there mother is an intolerable idea! Tay's grandkittens
turned out to
be every bit as beautiful as their ancestors! One is very nearby as
we managed to get
my dad to let my Mom have one of the babies! :-) It was a lot of fun
for me though it
was so tough to let them go! :-( Lots of cuteness coming your way on
this page! Hehehe!
Tip: Grooming your cat will keep your cat's fur free of knots, strengthen
your mutual bond,
minimize shedding, contribute to the better health of both you and
your cat and enable you
to recognize any possible skin problems that may occur.
Fact: Cats sleep from 14 - 18 hours per day to conserve energy. Why?
Probably so they can be ready to rip & tear while you're asleep!
