This animation is actually being traced as I write this...
I used POVRay 3 for it's creation, which, I'm afraid, isn't very fast.
Why did I use POVRay? Not for it's ease of use (I don't know about that, because I haven't tried any others) but for it's ease of downloadability.
(A few days later) It took 37 minutes, in fact, to trace 12 frames.
Admittedly I wasn't letting it use the entire processor either, only 80%.
Still, I think I'll try to find something faster before I try to raytrace a decent picture.
