Breakfast in L.A.

i
For breakfast today I made myself an egg sandwich. I took my most feminine egg and my most masculine sausage (vegetarian though it was) and fried them together in my Nubian frying pan. First I coated my pan with my Italian olive oil based non-aerosol non-stick spray. I watched my egg and my sausage come together in the electric heat and when I felt they were one I placed them gently upon a bed of my Jewish rye bread. Flirtatiously, I sprinkled my Mexican hot sauce all over my eggnsausage.
ii
You'd be surprised at what a fine feminine masculine vegetarian Nubian Italian Jewish Mexican sausagenegg sandwich I can make.
iii
I ate my sensuous sandwich by my ever open window while sipping some water that had been raised up from some Polish spring while sitting before my ancient computer in my apartment in Los Angeles listening to one neighbor scolding her child in Russian and another one yell in Spanish into a Japanese cellular phone taking in the pool's chlorine while reading a new e-mail from my old friend Todd who is now on his way from New Haven to Singapore.
iv
As I finish my sandwich I half wonder if I have embraced the notion of multicult ural is m or have I just lost touch with my self or if I am merely going insane?
v
Yes, I do believe that when I get my new computer I'll be a multi-tasking eggnsausage multi-cultural sausagenegg neighbor hearing sandwich-making pool-smelling e-mail-reading breakfast- eating egg-and-sausage sausageandegg finger-licking poetry- writing son of a gun.
