SCOUT'S TACSOP

The Basics

Your on the way now......but there are a few rules or things that you need to consider in the game.  Players at one time or another will "peak" or have been playing so long that they start to forget what got them there.   The game may be complex....but its doing the BASICS that will keep you competitive.  Things you need to consider at all times are the following:

1.  Weapon selection

2.  3d view

3.  The maps, and there starts

4.  When you die.........

WEAPON SELECTION-

The bottom line is to pick one that you play well with.  Killing with accurate and quick fire, as well as it feeling comfortable is important.  It doesnt matter if its the spray and pray of the mp5pdw or the Barrett.  If you kill with it comfortably, then thats the one for you.  Experiment with all of the weapons, or check out the comparision chart, but its what YOU use that makes the difference.  Dont get locked up with one weapon either.  Use them all.  With all the different maps, knowing what you need to bring is important.  When all the mods and other stuff has got you going in circles on what to use......pick the ones that achieve quick kills.

3D VIEW-

Tired of getting waxed while going around corners or peaking up over objects?  The 3d view can give you the opportunity to aquire a target...without exposing your self.  Carefull though......overusing this will have you worrying about other stuff, and end up getting killed.

THE MAPS AND THERE STARTS-

Want to be able to dominate the game.....you have to know all the starts for all the maps.  This will help you decide where to go...how to get there....and what to expect from the other side.  Knowing all the routes and the best places to fight at will help as well.  Each map, as well as map mods create a number of advantages and disadvantages for both side.  Knowing how to use them to your advantage is important.

WHEN YOU DIE....-

Dont just sit and wonder.  Look through the other players.  Dont complain about how much lag or how many rounds you pumped into someone.  Watch the others out there, and check there stats.  Players with great numbers may know something you dont...and watching what they do may help.
