The Technocracy knew before the assassination even occurred that it would for their agents were well informed on what was occurring in Washington, but unfortunately before they could fully act, it was done. Only the Syndicate saw this as a potential gain for the Technocracy as a whole for they had already heard of the plan to change laws to enable the new President to sell public land to Corporations. When the ability was actually law the Syndicate had already pushed picked out the areas they wished to control and bought them all under the guises of different Corps. After they had what they needed the Technocracy managed to leak information out to several groups who were deadly enemies of the cause of the fall of the former President. The Technocracy benefited both from the Civil War that followed financially since they supplied many weapons and also by the destruction of one of their enemies as well. The controlled cities became havens only to the Technocracy and their ilk and they forced Tradition Mages out through their easy hunting of them, but the Traditions simply moved into "Sin Cities" that were formed to keep the freedom loving populace happy.

Technocracy

Venice was selected as a place for a Technocracy outpost when the city was first bought up by different corporations. A cover corporation was moved there for a base to host the Outpost and a Triumvirate was selected to lead the Outpost in its mission. Venice has since found itself flooding with Technocracy cover corporations and the Outpost is used to keep the city free from Tradition Mages. The Technocracy has not yet made ventures into Styx officially, but there seems to be the idea that they soon will since the Outpost's mission includes infiltration of any Tradition Chantries they may find.

I'm looking for subtle manipulation and politicking in my Technocrats. I don't want them hunting down the Tradition Mages outright. What I want is infiltration, spying, and manipulation, but not outright hunting and slaughtering of Tradition Mages.

There will be 3 PC amalgams in the Outpost. Any convention is fine for any that particular Amalgam. As such, they will receive 10 extra freebies. When applying for a Special Agent please point out that you are doing so, and give justification why your PC would be in charge of it via details in your background. The amalgams are as follows:

1. Watchmen -- Investigators who may/may not track particular individuals.

2. Subversives -- Infiltrates organizations, even Tradition Chantries, and spies.

3. Delegates -- Public Relations for the Technocracy, Relays orders, and overseers of other amalgams.

.As far as Mages filling out the amalgams I would prefer Iteration X, New World Order, or Progenitors, but any is fine.

Traditions

Before the President fell the Tradition Mages ruled the combined city of Demence and Venice while keeping the Technocracy out by their sheer masses, and the large population of sleepers. Of course the Technocracy was there, but not in control as they are today in Venice. Once a prosperous Order of Hermes area with a College Chantry located in what has now become nicknamed Styx the Order has had to pull out of Venice almost completely save a few members who wish to learn what they can to stop the Technocrats. Falling on hard times the Order of Hermes opened the Chantry to other Cabals and found kinship with the Sons of Ether and Virtual Adepts who found the idea of a mansion appealing as cover for their operations. Many other Tradition Mages have also found a kinship in the Chantry, and it has become a well-established Multi-Tradition Chantry now.

I'm looking for team-work in my Tradition Mages since they need to work together to survive, and as such I will not accept Rogue Mages that are not spectacular. Of course lone cabals not involved in the Chantry are fine, but I want groups of Mages instead of loners. I also would prefer open minded Mages who will work with other Traditions, but that is not written in stone.
