|Welcome to the twin cities of Venice, and Demence Louisiana, two sides of the same coin. Venice is pristine, controlled, sterile, and the epitome of corporate behavior. Demence, better known now as Styx, is the last place you see before the afterlife gets it's final hold on you and is everything Venice isn't: squalor, free, and violent. If anything can be bought for a price, it will be in Styx. Corporate police rarely, if ever go into Styx. And even on the rare occasions they do penetrate the filth of the city it's with overwhelming force. Armor, guns, vehicles, everything designed for firepower, and protection. To the south, is a naturalist Enclave, v ery secretive. Outsiders are rarely let in, and when they are, they are very closely watched. More than one would be thief going in has never been seen again. And those that have been, were not in one piece, to boast of their exploits. North of the cities, is a quagmire of industrial waste. Worth your very life just to step foot in. It used to be a natural swamp, bef ore the corporations moved in, and destroyed it. Rumors are, bidding for the swamp was very intense, between the naturalist, and the corporation that ended up buying it, and that hard feelings remain.|
