Take heed and bear witness to the truths that lie herein, for they are the last legacy of the Horadrim. Thus it is known from ancient times that frequent doses of sitting in front of the computer doing assignments can be fatally dangerous and may considerably weaken the spirit. This war between mortals and computers is known as No-Win War, and it has raged and burned longer than any of the stars in the sky. Neither side ever gains sway for long as the forces of light and darkness constantly vie for control over all creation.
Even when the angels of the High Heavens and the Devils of Hell pacify, or the End of the World as we know it arrives, or the Dark Lord Diablo himself appears, there will be no salvation, for it is, after all, known as the No-Win War.

So it is known from the Dark Lord that the origins of this No-Win War came from a far away place called the Hill of the Bear. Precise details fail the memory but the mortal responsible for "initializing" it was known as Le Count Savieur. As the war rages between the demonic computers and the pitiful mortals a third party organism known as CIH invaded the merciless computers and rendered the hard disks useless, thus the mortals were saved from an early death, and the battle continues...Thus the flames of the No-Win War are fanned, and the on-lookers are left trembling in its wake......
Yup... I've had an overdose of Diablo alright... I can't believe that I wrote all that... haha... but alright, let's go to my main point here... This is an acknowledgement so I guess I should be acknowledging someone or something here... ;)
Firstly I would like to thank Ms. Lee... (duh... you a shoe polisher issit???) Well as you know she was the one who started all this No-Win War... haha... actually I would like to thank you for approving of my topic in the first place... come to think of it this isn't really academic but hey, you said anything informational right? ;) Anyways thanx for replying my mails regarding this assignment, and going through a lot of trouble to help me with the eternal RHIDE... :-)
Next I'd like to give credit to ThE_Guardian who helped me with the screenshots and many many other tasks that he was only too glad to do, mainly coz he got to play Diablo with a valid excuse!!! Anyway thanx a lot dude, for going thru all that material and sifting 'em for me!!! Couldn't have done it without ya! ;-)
Okay, now comes Ms. Joy Teoh a.k.a. Mrs. Alan Ng (she's gonna love me for this)... she allowed me to use her computer and her printer during the hectic days... I'll never forget the print-3-pages-and-hang syndrome!!! hehehe...
Thanx a lot dearie!!!Now comes PROzac... thanx for patiently telling me that "no, you need special software to convert the .ram and .rm files... err wait... why don't you link to them instead? no no... why don't you find midi files on the Net? and no way... .wav files are too big... " and so on and so forth... hehehe... Thank you for being such a sport!!!
Yup... and I've saved the best for last... My last acknowledgement goes to my parents in Kota Bharu... Thank you Mom & Dad for everything you've done to make my life easier... including that early allowance this month... hehehe... For getting me a laptop (albeit one with frequent hangovers... hehe), for taking care of my needs, for taking prompt actions even when it involved my allowances, and most importantly, for showing me that no matter where I am, I can always count on the warmth and love of HOME... THANK YOU !!!
To round it all up... this assignment has taught me many things... firstly, sitting in front of the computer for 9 hours on a stretch can be a real pain in the neck!!! ;) Well... another thing is... it taught me the meaning of friendship and trust... In a sense I'm glad that I ventured to find out... and many people ventured to help... :)
