HISTORY OF "THE TARGET"

In 1996, three aspiring young men took preparations to build a film company and proceeded to make a feature length independent film, The Target The film was going to be finished withing a 2 month time limit, and under $5,000 to put the dreams of those men sharply into reality. However, the project ran into complications due to the young men traveling different directions to different schools. As time went on the dream was lost, but not gone.
After waiting for the opportunity for the owners of VinCity Productions to get together and work on the film had been beaten to death, the director felt that his vision for film was gone.
VinCity Productions along with VinCity Design have fallen into the black hole of forgotten goals and dreams.
Nine years later, Bevan B. Bell would re-write an idea based on some of the original characters from The Target. This screenplay would soon be known as A Cowboy's Silver Lining. More about the film and it's transformation can be found at www.rustedsunfilms.com. Rusted Sun Films has gone on to produce and film other short and feature films in the Memphis area.
