Keiichi Morisato is a student of NIT (Nekomi Institute of Technology) and becomes the star driver of NIT MCC (Motor Cycle Club). Although he's shy in nature and short, he has a kind and caring personality, which is probably endeared him to Belldandy in the time that followed their first meeting. Keiichi likes to sign his signature as K1 >> "Kei" sounds like "K" and "ichi" sounds like "ichi", the japanese word for "one". His greatest weakness that he can't swim, but luckily Belldandy is always around him to save him from drowning.

Megumi Morisato is Keiichi's younger sister who's also studying at NIT. She is majoring in mechanics at NIT, has a great interest in anything to do with engines, and also a good softball player. Megumi is what you call the "typical younger sister" (sometimes.....^-^)

Tamiya-sempai is Keiichi's senior at NIT. He's the president of MCC and looks like a bit "Yakuza-ish". Tamiya is perfectionist when it comes to machines, and poor Keiichi is always be the target of his requests to improve/modify cars, motocycles and kind. He also enlists Keiichi to be the test driver of NIT's MCC modified vehicles, but not always ends with his predicted results. ^_^

Ootaki-sempai is Tamiya's best friend and is also Keiichi's senior. He has spiky blond/yellow hair, wears vehicle parts, a leather jacket and round spectacles all the time, and always brings all sorts of mechanical tools around with him. Ootaki is afraid of dogs, shown in the manga when he got chased by one and ended up running around the entire town. ^o^

Sayoko is Aoshima's cousin. Her status as the "Queen" of NIT was threatened with Belldandy's arrival, and she's extremely jealous of Belldandy and tries to get Keiichi away from her. But unlike her cousin, she doesn't use unfair means to try win him over. In the manga, she tries to deny that she likes Keiichi that she actually likes. Sayoko also drives a really cool looking Mercedes SLK around NIT.

Aoshima is a slick self indulgent guy who is the head and founder of the Aoshima Formula, a rival motor club to NIT's MCC (in manga, it's NIT Four Wheels club). He's Sayoko's cousin and is infatuated with Belldandy and her cooking, that's why he always tries to split up Belldandy and Keiichi so that he can have Belldandy all for himself (usually not succesful though).

Sora Hasegawa is Keiichi's Kouhai (junior). She secretly likes Aoshima and shown when she made a bento (a kind of boxed meal with rice, seafood, and vegetables which is popular in Japan) specially for him with Belldandy's help.
