A New Day!
As I sit out here watching the clouds roll by,
I feel a storm deep inside.
Hoping today will be a better day,
this is all I ask today as I pray.
Father, thank you for watching over me,
and surely for how you open my eyes and let me see.
Now, I know what it means to have devotion,
it has brought out in me so many emotions.
Fears, tears, joy & sorrow,
I thank you for each new tomorrow.
Now as I feel your touch of heavenly breeze,
I honestly feel you take care of all my needs.
THANK YOU FATHER!

In Times of Sorrow

Each and every day when we open our eyes,
we should remember to look towards the sky.
To thank The good Lord for today,
and for the great place He gives us to stay.
At times our hearts feel weary & so full of pain,
we must remember how Jesus suffered in endless pain.
Our lives are short, precious and sweet,
surely to all whom we meet.
One day there comes a day for all to be called,
"Home" again with our Father, The Creator of all.
GOD BLESS US ALL

We miss you MOM and you will always be in that special part of "our" hearts
May you rest in peace!!!
Thanks for being MOM!!!

Today is Your Day Father

Rejoice, Rejoice, Rejoice, Jesus has risen again,
and I wish I could hear his voice!
Each & every day I talk to Him,
but, lately things seem so grim.
I must put all my trust in Him alone,
and pray thank you for each new day,
and he lets me know I am not alone!
Our Father put us on Earth to grow,
to become stronger and to learn of one another,
this I have come to know!
Thank you Father for another wonderful day,
this is Your day,
and that's all I wanted to say!
Amen~Susan Elaine 04-21-96

LET THERE BE "JOY"

Life is short, precious, and sweet;
truely with all whom we meet.
Let there be joy & happiness to all;
there will be a day for all to be called.
Let all His people join in hands;
so that we all hear the trumpets in the band!
Tomorrow may be too late;
because no one is to know the date.
My dream is to learn, see, and grow and to be with the ones I love so,
and now all will know;
what a wonderful life I have chose!

HELP ME LORD!

Help me Lord, each day I pray,
please, make this pain go away!
I know You are with me every minute of the day,
and I know You will keep it that way.
I don't know if I pray just right,
I sure try with all my might!
Don't you know my children need me to help them grow,
they are asking so many questions that even I want to know.
Thank You Father for the wonderful man in my life,
whom I am proud to be his wife.
Thank You for two wonderful children in whom I adore,
each day I see them get stronger, more and more!
Each of my days has been blessed,
now Father I need help with some of the rest!
Thank You, Father for another day,
lead me Father, I ask Thee, as I pray!

MAY GOD BE WITH YOU!

I was going to write a poem today,
but how I felt, thought in bed I should stay.
Then I remembered my son's soccer game,
what a joy to see him grin when they annouce out his name.
The pride and joy we feel to see him grow,
all the love we give, I know one day it will show.
So, on days like today when I feel so helpless,
the times with our families and friends are countless.
May God be with you all today and tomorrow,
and may this help someone who may be full of pain & sorrow.

LONELY

Is what I have 'really' contagious? Really, do I look that strange?
What? I don't look sick?

Hey, where have all my friends(?) gone? Just because I cannot golf
Just because I cannot fish
Just because I lose the conversion Just because I have to stop
and think I would still enjoy your company!

The coffee is always on, when I remember to turn it on.

Darn, I'd like to go shopping sometime when I'm feeling
half-alive when I'm not afraid of the crowds
Oh, and when I don't feel lost in that great big store.

No, I really can't hit that ball my body gets way to sore.
No, I really can't sit and fish my body gets way to sore.

Yes, I forget the subject; once-in-awhile.
Yes, I forget where my coffee cup is at.
Yes. I forget what card I should play.
Were you my friend just for that?

What ever happened to our little chats?
Really, do I look that strange? Really, do I have a
contagious thing?

Where have you gone to--all my friends?

You really do need a Chance.

When you’re feeling blue I'll comfort you,
I can walk with you when you're feeling new!
I can even talk to you when you feel the blues.

I may be demanding of your understanding,
I may mis-behave if you don't wave.
I'm not really perfect but that's my secret.

Can you give me just a "Chance"?

I can listen both night and day,
and all of this for not to much pay.
Best of all I only need a little care.

I'll stand by you through thick or thin,
And eat my meals from a tin.
Please, you can share your fears
Just rub between my little ears.

Can you give me just a 'Chance"?

I don't mind when you forget.
A friendly kiss is what you'll get.
I can warm those chilly toes
or cool them off with my chilly nose.

Can you give me just a 'Chance"?

I'll even let you know if there's a threat.
I'll make your world seem more alive.
And make you laugh with just a “chance"

I only need to have the “Chance"

When trouble comes your soul to try,
you love the friend who "just stands by".
Perhaps there's nothing she can do -
the thing is strictly up to you,
For there are troubles all your own
and paths the soul must tread alone,
Times when love can't smooth the road,
nor friendship lift the heavy load,
But just to know you have a friend
who will stand by until the end,
Whose sympathy through all endures,
whose warm hand-clasp is always yours.
It helps, some way, to pull you through,
although there's nothing she can do.
And so with fervent heart we cry,
God bless the friend who just stands by.

TO MY CHILDREN

MY SOUL GOES OUT TO YOU EACH AND EVERY DAY
I KNOW YOU BOTH ARE GOING THROUGH SUCH A DIFFICULT AGE
EACH DAY I CONTINUE TO ASK THE LORD TO GUIDE YOU ALONG THE WAY.

I AM SO SORRY THAT YOUR LIFE HAS HAD SO MANY UNEXPECTED CHANGES
I PRAY IT WILL ONE DAY MAKE YOU BOTH STRONGER
TO ME IT IS LIKE A BOOK WITH TOO MANY PAGES.

TOGETHER WE HAVE LAUGHED AS WELL AS CRIED
YOU ARE BOTH A JOY EVERY DAY WHEN I OPEN MY EYES
THAT IS ONE THING YOUR FATHER AND I HAVE NEVER DENIED.

PLEASE KNOW HOW MUCH IT HURTS ME INSIDE
WHEN I SEE THE HURT AND PAIN YOU SHARE
I SEE IT LATELY WHEN I LOOK IN YOUR BEAUTIFUL EYES.

YOU WILL SEE ONE DAY HOW MUCH YOU HAVE BEEN BLESSED
AND HOW THE LORD WAS WITH YOU ALWAYS
I'VE FELT IT ALWAYS DEEP WITHIN MY CHEST.

TODAY IS A NEW DAY AND YOU ARE GROWING SO...
OUR FAMILY IS WORKING HARD TO FACE EACH NEW DAY
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH
JUST WANTED YOU,MY CHILDREN, TO KNOW!

YOU HAVE TOUCHED MY SOUL,ALWAYS GOD BLESS
