In the morning Grandma took us to meet Aunt Susan, Madeline, and Emma at a children’s museum called “Kid City”. It had so many rooms!

Each room has a different theme like “under the sea”, the “pirate room”, the “kitchen room (food shopping, play restaurant, laundry, and mail), the “music room”, and the “theater room”.

The "theater room" had puppets and dress-up clothes and a production studio with cameras that we could move. Madeline performed with a pretty red dress and tap shoes and we (Karlie and Galen) used the cameras. Sometimes Emma helped us.

We ate lunch at Madeline and Emma’s house. We loved all the toys at their house!

 

  
Galen, the turtle swimmer.After rest time we went with Grandma and Grandpa to Linda’s pool. I (Karlie) was pretending to be in the Olympics. I was the gold medal backstroke swimmer! Galen was a swimming turtle.
