Jared and John came again today and we went for a woods walk to “our river”. We stopped at the Seldom Inn to play in the hammock..
Jared, Galen, & John in the Seldom Inn. Seldom Inn.

We liked sitting on a tree that had fallen near the Lead Mine Brook and eating our snack… that is until Jared and John decided to sit on the end near the bank and gallop! The whole tree shook!
Grandma & Galen eating a snack. Eating snacks in the woods.
Somehow we got separated from John when Jared had to potty in the woods and we lost John. Grandma took Jared, Galen and me back to the house and we looked along the way for John. Grandma drove the Jeep down the road to go into the woods. Galen said that the Jeep was really fast….faster than a car! On the way we stopped and asked some guys (Mark and his friends) to help us look for John. I really wanted to find John! By the time we got back to the woods, Grandpa had found John. We were all so happy! Grandpa drove us all back home.

Karlie swimming with the pink goggles. After quiet time we went swimming at Linda’s again. Boy did I liked swimming every day!

And I really liked the PINK GOGGLES! We all had fun!

Grandpa set up the sprinkler for us in the driveway so we could run through it. Boy were we ever surprised to see a funny looking open car come into the driveway! But I think the driver of the car was even more surprised than we were!

Karlie in the sprinkler. Karlie, Jared, and Galen in the sprinkler.
While we were eating dinner on the deck we heard Oliver start. Galen said the man in the funny car must have brought the carburetor back! I think he did. Roadster goes through the sprinkler!

Grandma had baked brownies for Mark so we took them to his house and got to see his animals: 2 ponies, 3 lammas, a very small baby deer, chickens, baby chicks, ducks, and goats. We chased the chickens!

Pony Ali Lammas.
Farm yard and animals. New baby chicks.

Jared and John had a sleep over. Grandpa read lots of stories after all our baths as he did every night. I like Grandma’s “kid” robes! They were just like Grammy's.
