A LITTLE ABOUT ME
- For a little about myself, Daryl: This is my small contribute to the Internet. I'am still new to all of this as I have only been on the Internet for about 2 years, at times I have been known to SURF the Web for over eight hours a day, but I still say new because there is and endless amount of information a person can explore and learn from the Internet if they are willing to open there mind up too it and just leap in , but be careful as one can get lost in it in more ways then one.
I come from a vary small town called Leggett where I have lived on and off for over 20 years. Leggett is located on the Calif. coast in the heart of the Giant Redwoods. Its a vary small town of only about 192 people where everybody knows every body and there business, which makes for and interesting private life.
Leggett school is so small, it has at times only had one senior. The Eel river which runs next to Leggett provides some of the best steelhead and salmon fishing in California I have ever fished.
If you think you might be in the Leggett area and would like to know some of the local hot spots to fish or what the fish are biting on,Write me and I will let you in on some of the great fishing spots and tricks or if you would like a guide I know of some vary friendly people for hire in the Leggett area with drift boats where you are almost guarantee to catch some of the biggest fish the Ell river has to offer with these guides.
About two years ago I packed up and moved to Lake Tahoe where I have grown to love the area and the people up here. At times it's hard to deal with the snow and cold weather, but there is always the warm a friendly atmosphere of Mullagen's Pub which is A Irish owned Pub and is the local hang out, as they provide some of the best live internment and food for the money I have found here in Lake Tahoe.
A special thanks goes out to Stacie and Keith for providing us with some of the best service and generosity along with a great atmosphere of any of the local clubs we go too here in Tahoe.
- Hobbies:Well Tahoe provides just about anything a out doors person would want which is why I have now taken up mountain biking and hiking. A great friend of mine named Mike as taken the time out to show me some of the most beautiful place I have ever seen here in Lake Tahoe, one of which is the most incredible hikes I have taken here at Tahoe was at Mt. Talac, which takes you up to close to 10,000 feet where you look down on the whole lake Tahoe basin. If you are a powerful hiker I suggest that you take a hike up there for some of the most breath taking view you are likely too see.
As far as mountain biking goes people from all over the world come here to ride some of these trails, the trails range from the novice level to the more experienced rider, for the family ride the city of Tahoe has paved double track trails with maps at almost all of the crossings. I took one of my brothers on a trail ride up here called the "power line trail" and he was so impressed with the wonderful sights and peacefulness he saw and felt he now drive's over 300 miles one way to get up here at least once a month just to ride this trail and others. One of my other favorite hobbies and obsession is my Toyota truck, as I have taken it where no other FORD truck could ever think of going, I have built this truck from the ground up and it has taken me to some places that would make a grown Ford man cry with desire of wanting this truck.
