| Ash is a 10 year old boy from Pallet Town. He's a bit brash (hee hee, pun) and wants to become a Pokemon Master. He has a good heart and deeply cares for his Pokemon, making him the hero of the show. The only problem is that he has a big ego and tends to get carried away with things. His big ego also tends to make him underestimate his challengers (e.g. A.J. in "The Path to the Pokemon League"), the paths he takes while traveling, and Pokemon. |
| Brock (Takeshi) |
| Brock is a funny character and likes to chase girls (only to make Ash jealous; ha ha). He wants to become a Pokemon breeder and "temporarily" stayed with Professor Ivy. He was the former gym leader of the Pewter City Gym and has 10 little brothers and sisters he took care of (due to his parents abandoning them) before going on his adventures with Ash. |
| Tracey Sketchit (Kenji) |
| A temporary character that "replaced" Brock (although he could never take a place in Ash's heart like Brock did). Tracey is probably the same age as Brock and he arrived just after Ash and Misty came to defend Lapras from some mean guys. He's a Pokemon watcher and admires Professor Oak. He has a great ability to sketch and can tell a Pokemon's stats just by looking at it. |
