Materials: Size 30 crochet cotton
                 Size 10 crochet hook
                  Cloth covered wire 18" lengths size 28 or 32 (the smallest
you can find) or 4 strands                      of crochet cotton.  This
will be referred to as PC in the directions.
                  ( won't hold as stiffly but a good option if you want it
completely washable).
                  Stamens for center (you can use yellow beads on green wire
or buy them ready made)
Make six petals
Fold over wire so that you have 1 6# side and 1 12 " side.  Join thread at
fold. Work 35 sc over wire.  Chain 2, turn.

Row 1)  Working in back loops The pattern goes 7 sc, 7 hdc, 5 dc, 5 tr, 5
dc, 2 hdc, 4 sc, ch 3, working in front loops work 4 sc, 2 hdc, 5 dc, 5 tr,
5 dc, 7 hdc, 7 sc.  Ch 2 turn.

Row 2) Working thru both loops work pattern as follows 8 hdc, 20 dc, 7 sc,
ch 1, sc in ch 3, ch 1,  7 sc, 20 dc, 8 hdc.  Ch 2 turn.

Row 3) Work hdc in each st around.

Assembly

When assembling make sure the right side is facing center, insert stamen and
twist wire tightly.  Curve petals outward
