I admit, current black peg pieces are supposed to offer resistance but don't. I have discovered a way to make them very stiff. They give enough resistance to hold up giants like Gargantuan and Arachnid. Read on. |

have a gap in the middle that allow the entire peg to give way in the middle. It offers much less resistance than old pegs that didn't have the gap. |

16 gauge wire. The wire should be slightly bigger than the hole in the pegs. |

get a wire cutter or plyers with a wire cutter... |

And insert it
into the slot in the side of the peg. |

Use the plyers
to push the wire all the way in. If any sticks out, it will cut up the inside of lego girders. |

When finished,
the wire piece should be in the center of the peg. If it bulges too much, get a smaller gauge wire. |
