|| Department of Physics - Microwave Lab
The microwave laboratory was started during 1960s with Prof.J.Sobhanadri
as its Head. With the German assistance, the microwave test benches for
the frequency spectrum of 5 to 70 GHz were installed. Still in working
condition, the test benches have helped the lab to produce more than 25
Ph.D., numerous M.Sc. and M.Tech. Project students. The lab has also
published over 100 research papers in Refereed journals and an equal
number in conferences.
Prof.Sobhanadri, M.Sc., D.Sc. from Andhra University, guided
more than 25 research scholars during his period 1962 - 1996 as the
Head of the laboratory. He retired in 1996. He was a Guest Faculty at
University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad.
