Camp Paul Hummel is located in the Rocky Mountains above the
city of Boulder, Colorado with a beautiful view across the Boulder valley. The camp is jointly operated by both the Denver and Boulder Seventh Day Baptist Churches.
This is an inside view of the main lodge. All of our indoor activities are held here. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served at the tables in the dining area. In the cool evenings, the campers gather around the fireplace.
Classes are held outdoors probably more often than indoors
in this beautiful mountain setting. The beauty of the outdoor mountain scenery could be distracting, but not when we keep the outdoor classes so very interesting.
Even with a busy camp schedule there is always time for the miles
of hiking trails both on the Seventh Day Baptist camp
property as well as on the many, many acres of the adjacent national forest area.
Camp ceremonies are often held around the rustic bell tower.
These week-long camps are held each summer in the Rocky Mountains as well as week-end retreats that are held any time of year.
