of East Bengal on December 12, 1913. His
mother's name was Hasna Banu and his
father's name was Abdul Hamid Munshi.
In 1933 he passed the Matriculation in First
Division from Hochcha Mia Madrasha in
Comilla. In 1935 he passed the Intermediate
from Chittagong Islamia Intermediate College.
He was graduated from Comilla Victoria
College under Calcutta University in the year
1938.

In the year 11939 he joined the
Postal department and posted in
Assam (Lamding, Tinsukia,
Shilchar).
In 1948 he was posted at
Akkaura in Tripura Distict and
then at Laksham, Chittagong and
Dacca.
He was the president of the
Union of Railway Mail
Service Employees.
